Part 1 - Making a Simple Slinky Sinker using basic tools. This method can be used to make slinky sinkers right from the shoreline. Slinky sinkers are designed to bring your bait to the bottom in moving current or when trolling behind your boat. They are attached to your fishing lines about 6ft in front of your bait. Your bait should pull directly behind the sinker about 6" to 24" off the bottom depending on the speed of the boat or the speed of the current.
Part 2 shows how to add hardware to your slinky sinkers. Part 3 shows how to set them up on your rod and fish them. Send us your questions or tips and we'll make a video.
